Myanmar Air Force reportedly carried out an airstrike on Kan Oo Monastery in Ta Laing village, Sagaing, at 0400 on 11 August.

Mandalay Free Press claimed that two civilians, one monk and an eight-month-old baby, were killed during the attack.

SAC troops reportedly arrested around 10 other civilians, claiming one was killed. Further reports of raids by SAC troops in the nearby villages left many villagers having to flee to safety.
