Three days-long battles between the People’s Defence Forces (PDF) and Myanmar Military reportedly occurred in Boet Ma (upper) village, Pyinmana township. On 13 August, the last day of the incident, the Myanmar Air Force allegedly dropped an airstrike on the Boet Ma village, east of Pyinmana Township, destroying multiple residential houses.

Myanmar Witness investigators were able to geolocate the damaged houses from online footage.

The conflict reportedly started on 10 August, when PDFs allegedly entered the LIB (Light Infantry Battalion) 411 army camp and occupied it.
